The Wiggles is a body of abstract works that has developed into Chandler’s “style”.
The process while working on this series includes painting multiple pieces at a time while sitting on the floor. This is important because it is calming, simple and allows freedom of expression. Whatever paint is leftover determines the background color of the next few paintings. Each painting is related to the other either by line quality, color, energy or pattern because they are created simultaneously.
Art is an invirgoating and energizing ritual for Chandler which she displays with her series “The Wiggles”.

Chandler Domingos is mystified by the quiet and strong allure of caves. She acknowledges the integrity of nature to use millennia for sculpting and painting without the promise of being seen or known. Caverns offer Chandler an exploration which inspires her play of sculptural paintings and funky formations.
Landscape is a consistent theme in Chandler’s body of work but the timeline behind forming caves, rocks, mountains and valleys has driven her artistic practice. In the sense that, one drop at a time water can carve a stone. Therefore, she has adopted the same approach to her painting, one stroke at a time.
